Sum it up: Fashion Week season

Okay, whole September just passed without a single post so we have so much things to keep up with when it comes to world fashion scene. The fashion week season is coming to it's end with all four major fashion weeks already ended which means I must get back to posting.
To start off my own new season after this one-month-break I decided to sum up all my favorite moments from four fashion weeks: New York, London, Milan and Paris.

Dior Haute Couture, fall winter 2014

Okay, my mind is blown. Blown literally. This new Dior collection: A-MAZING.

the magic world of Raf Simons for Dior. 

And believe me, you will not want to leave it!

Now, here are 5 facts on why is this collection for pure A+ and why Raf Simons is a complete and total genius:

1. As you can see from the video, the venue was squared and guests were sitting in a pyramid. 

2. He arranged four worldwide famous photographers, Patrick Demarchelier, Paolo Roversi, Willy Vanderperre and Terry Richardson to shoot the models and the pictures were used for decorating the venue.

3. He played music from Kanye West's latest album Yezuus during the show.

4. Collection was inspired by four geographic groups: Europe, Asia, the Americas and Africa, so it showed in a suggestive manner some lifestyle highlights for each of those groups.

5. He went back to haute couture roots and made the collection wearable  but still unique and luxurious unlike the typical haute Couture collections of nowadays that are strictly arty, not at all rational and can be compared to a circus.
